2021.10.21 14:58 mleddit06 Dragon Talon assassin kick doesnt miss?
I don't think I've ever seen it miss due to Adefense (where a white X pops out). I initially thought its only because I have 5k AR in act5 normal (level 28), but I removed my angel's ammy/ring and had my AR go down to 2k. When I tried it again, I still don't see the white X's even if the character screen only shows that my kick has 70-80% hit rate.

2021.10.21 14:58 ItchyGlowbo A more accurate match for filename extensions
Apart from using basic anchors, I have no experience with regex.
I have been searching for a pre-made regex solution for matching filename extensions. I assumed that such a common-place task would have many code examples available all over the web and that they would therefore be easy to find.
However, all of the extension-matching regex examples that I have come across are based on the same flawed and ill thought-through premise that whatever comes after the last dot in a string must be a file extension (which is obviously not the case).
I would therefore be very grateful if someone could help me construct a more reliable solution.
I should point out that I am looking to use this as part of an AutoHotkey script to put filename and extension into separate variables (with the dot included as part of the extension text and not discarded). I mention this just in case it happens to have any bearing on the particular 'flavor' of regex that should be used.
Take the following "file extension matching" regex example (which was described as 'elegant'):
This does not match the file extension
tar.gz correctly, but yet it does match the non-extension word "Start" in:
end of sentence. Start
Filename extensions never start with a space, so I don't know why this would be considered a correct match for a "file extension" matching regex. The same is true of numerous other regex examples that I tested.
I have tried my best to come up with the basic 'logic' for testing whether something constitutes a file extension or not, but I am not a programmer, so thinking through the flow of decisions for something like this is not my strong point.
But here is what I have come up with:
● Start from the existing premise that the last dot in a string may be the start of a file extension.
● If there is no dot at all in the string then obviously there is no extension.
● If the last dot has a space somewhere* after it, then: don't match (e.g.
file. nomatch or
● *Unless those space(s) are at very end of string, in which case match, but omit the trailing space(s) - e.g. in the examples
file.match the extension would be:
● If the last dot is preceded and followed by 2 digits enclosed in parentheses then: don't match This is a personal tweak for me, because I often use this format for time stamps seeing as colons can't be used in file/folder names - e.g.
no match (21.15) but
yes match 21.15) where the extension is:
yes match 21.15 - where the extension is:
Trailing digits are sometimes used for extensions (e.g.
.003 etc. for .rar files, VirtualBox's numbered log files etc.). Also see my note below about 'disallowed' characters,
● If the last dot in a string is deemed an extension, then check if there is another dot before it. If there is, and that penultimate dot also meets the above criteria for being an extension, then: match and consider both as the extension - e.g.
yes this.file.matches (the extension here is:
.file.matches ). The 'no space allowed immediately after a dot' rule would prevent this next example from being considered a double extension:
not a. double.extension - here the extension would be:
● If the penultimate dot is deemed to be an extension, then do the same again for the dot before that - e.g.
filename.tar.bz.bak (the extension here is:
.tar.bz.bak) or for:
something.tar.gz.old (the extension would be:
.tar.gz.old). This is to preserve double extensions and prevent them from being split up in backups or temporarily suffixed files (e.g. .tmp added)
● Any other dots before the 3rd one from the end are ignored and treated as part of the filename (even if they match the criteria for being an extension).
I am not claiming that my proposal above is foolproof or perfect, but it seems to me that it would at least be better than the existing offerings (and therefore be useful to many people). I certainly need something like this for myself because of the amount of false-matches and missed-matches than I'm getting with existing regex examples.
Note: I debated whether or not to suggest treating successful extension matches as a 'no-match' if the extension text contained any disallowed characters. In Windows the disallowed characters are:
/ \ : * ? " < > | but this does not apply to other operating systems (which seem to have fewer restrictions). Seeing as I'd be using this regex with AutoHotkey (which is Windows-only software) it would make sense to exclude any extension matches that contain the disallowed characters shown above, but doing this would make the regex less useful for users of other operating systems who may also want to use it.
All help gratefully received.

2021.10.21 14:58 mycarislimping Is there hope for picking up a vinyl in-store?
Big-time long-term fan here, have always pre-ordered the special edition prior to release. For the first time in years of being a fan, the pre-order sold out before I could get to it! I've been checking her website and Target daily and haven't seen it update or any become available. Will some actually get released to stores? I went to target today and asked and was told that they won't know until November 15th or something (the push back date), and that my local target only has SIX cds that they will be putting out around 7 am tomorrow! Slim picking are making me a sad girl. Is there any hope for me?

2021.10.21 14:58 ja5143kh5egl24br1srt Is it possible to remap a physical keyboard from one language to another?
Looking to buy my little cousin an iPad. He lives in germany but I want to buy everything here (US) and mail it to him. I used to have an iPad with logitech slim folio case but I can't remember if there was a setting to treat the keyboard as if it's a german keyboard. I could put stickers on the right letters if that's the case.
Can anybody confirm if this is possible? The searches I've done come back inconclusive with some saying yes some no.

2021.10.21 14:58 Orpheus_Hades Does anyone struggle with the concept of romantic relationships?
I am slowly realizing that I might be aromantic. I've suspected it before but I figured bc I have had crushes in the past that that's probably not the case.
Only recently I realized that the "romance" I was feeling was most likely wanting to be physically intimate with someone I'm quite fond of.
And now I'm trying to understand what romantic feelings feel like. I don't understand how a relationship isn't just friends who have sex with each other (like FWB)
Would love to chat with someone about this!

2021.10.21 14:58 EvilBurgerSandwich LibreCalc - Auto updating link target/link to a "cell content"?
Hi, I know how to make a link to a specific cell but is there a way to link to a "cell content"? For example I have column: A1 - A, A2 - B, A3 - C, A4 - D utill A26 - Z. If I create link to A4 (D) and then I change sorting to descending the content of A4 is letter W and letter D is in cell A23. Link still targets A4 cell, to target cell A23 I have to edit hyperlink. Is there a way to create a "smart link" that will target not cell address but rather cell content so even if I change sorting or if I add more rows above pushing that cell down I won't have to manually update it?
